Sumario:Recently, revolutionary changes in the ways television series are produced, broadcast and consumed have provoked academic interest and opened up new research areas. New studies have shown that the categories used to study film cannot be simply translated to television, and have started to address the specific expressive resources of TV fiction. This article is a review of those readings, which attempts to conduct a formal analysis and sketch a classification that takes into account various narrative structures, using a corpus that includes an enumeration of practices used in Argentinian television.
