Sumario:A reflection on the graphic work of Martin Malharro for the Argentine media is proposed, in order to allow the proximity to this part of his production, and at the same time, to promote other readings about his paintings. We will be focused on the images produced by the artist for La Nación newspaper, during the year 1984.Pieces of Malharro acting as a police events reporter will be exposed. In these pieces, he develops different expressive resources that his painting does not have. On the other hand, it is relevant pointing out that this production was done during the last decades of the 19th century, overlapping with systematic incorporation of the image to the daily Argentinean press, the transformation of those newspapers in big industries and the consolidation of its rules.
