This article seeks to analyze the reception and internalization of this phenomenon in Chile through the study of Political Cartoons included in the Topaze magazine. According to this magazine, this text sought to present local and global stereotypes and representations using a critical interpretation of the Global Sixties. La Revolución Cubana y la Crisis de los Misiles, fueron dos momentos gravitantes para la historia de América Latina. Ambos hechos lograron captar las miradas del mundo entero en el marco de la Guerra Fría Global. El presente artículo se propone analizar la recepción e internalización de ambos procesos en Chile a través del estudio de caricaturas políticas incluidas en la revista Topaze. En este sentido, se busca presentar estereotipos y representaciones, tanto locales como globales, que se pueden desentrañar a través de la reflexión crítica de las caricaturas políticas de la época de los Global Sixties.
