El caso de la revista Norte Argentino Piliponsky, Esteban Tucuman Catholic Integralism Social Church Doctrine Acción Católica Argentina Peronism Tucumán Integralismo Católico Doctrina Social de la Iglesia Acción Católica Argentina Peronismo The following essay intends to analyze the magazine Norte Argentino which was printed in Tucumán since 1942. Its editorial line was leaded by militants of the “Acción Católica”. This research investigates the magazine content from its beginnings to the middle of 1945. Because of the importance of this press organ for the catholic church of the period, and because of the importance of the columnists, the journal synthesizes the main ideas of the catholic integralism of the last period of the interwar. With this investigation we intend to make a contribution to the study of the church history in this country. Although the publication was framed within the ecclesiastic national politics, it shows its own regional character reflecting its particularities. Besides, this research intends to go further into the relationship between catholic laity and the fact government which emerged in June 1943 and into the origins of peronism as well, taking into account that the publication supported both processes and that some members of Norte Argentino had public positions in those years. El siguiente trabajo pretende analizar la publicación Norte Argentino, editada en Tucumán desde principios de 1942, cuya línea editorial era guiada por militantes de la Acción Católica de la provincia. La presente investigación indagará desde su fundación hasta mediados de 1945. Por la importancia de este órgano de prensa para la iglesia católica de la época, teniendo en cuenta la representatividad de sus columnistas dentro de su ámbito, la revista sintetiza las principales consignas e ideas del integralismo católico de finales del período de entreguerras. Con esta investigación se pretende hacer un aporte al estudio de la historia de la iglesia en el país. Si bien la revista se enmarca dentro de la política eclesiástica nacional, reivindica su carácter regional, lo cual refleja sus particularidades. Además, se busca ampliar los estudios en torno a la relación del laicado católico con el gobierno de facto surgido en junio de 1943 y respecto a los orígenes del peronismo, teniendo en cuenta que la publicación apoya ambos procesos, asumiendo algunos de sus miembros cargos públicos durante esos años.
