Exiles and transnational solidarity; 2. Comparative or regional-transnational scale analysis; 3. Asylum and refuge policies. As a result of an open call, the dossier was made up of eight articles, all coming from different researchers and natives of various places in Latin America and the Caribbean. Este dossier titulado “Exilios políticos en América Latina y el Caribe, siglo XX: desafíos de un campo interdisciplinario fragmentado” tiene por objetivo fomentar una discusión histórica e historiográfica del fenómeno del exilio latinoamericano y caribeño a lo largo del siglo XX a partir de propuestas de artículos que abordane tres ejes: 1. Exilios y solidaridad transnacional; 2. Análisis comparativos o de escala regional-transnacional; 3. Políticas de asilo y refugio. Como resultado de una convocatoria abierta el dossier quedo compuesto por ocho artículos todos provenientes de distintos investigadores y oriundos de diversos sitios de América Latina y del Caribe.
