Sumario:The main purpose of this study is to review the different approaches, theories, and debates on the Romanization process. Special emphasis will be given to the paradigms of the last two decades and their new narratives, focusing on the theory of globalization. In addition, emphasis will also be placed on how this phenomenon of multicultural interconnectedness and networking provides a model for a new study of the nature and functioning of the Roman Empire. An open topic, indeed, that is still ongoing.
