Sumario:This paper explores military organization within the jurisdiction of Córdoba in 1810-1815; attempting to begin by an observation about how was it revealed in the region, the process of militarization of the so-called "War of Independence" and to find evidence to the political participation of local subalterns during the revolutionary period. To this end, using historical documentation and specific bibliography, we will trace military organization since late colonial times and then to focus on the organization of the period of interest and the analysis of the composition of military units formed. At this time, we do not intend to give a complete answer to what we ask, but to tackle the subject and suggest new lines of approach to the issue.
