Sumario:This work has been produced as part of an investigation on the roles of drawing in contemporary art, in response to the proliferation of practices that claim it as an autonomous discipline. The aim of this piece is to reflect on the codes established by modernity around the themes, supports and exhibition spaces of drawing. Here, the plate, a marginal device in the field of art, supports images of the Negro River which are elusive to the spatial organization that modern art has imprinted on nature in various visual manifestations.
