Isabel Estario, Juan Carlos practicas reproductivas vulnerabilidad de genero mujeres y su sexuaelidad reproductive practices gender vulnerability females and their sexuality This research project was carried out as part of the sexual and reproductive health program for the urban periphery of the Municipal Government of Córdoba.The aim is to analyze the life histories of the women that joined the program in the UPAS 13, in search of representations of their sexuality and reproductive practices.Women construct their representations of self in two simultaneous historical times: in Modernity, by the idealization of love, maternity and gender subordination; in pre-Modernity, through the constitution of large families and maternity as an indicator of a higher differential status.Their representations of sexuality are associated with the initiation rites of sexual intercourse in their adolescence, in permanent contrast to affection. A negative historical change can be detected in the mode of initiation in the field of sexuality. There is a specific education originated in the cultural practices of the social group, whereas the information provided by formal education and public health agents is perceived as relatively extraneous.Social vulnerability is not perceived as a possible threat for health. Este proyecto se concreta en el marco del programa de salud sexual y reproductiva llevado a cabo por la Municipalidad de Córdoba en zonas periféricas de la ciudad.El objeto fue analizar las representaciones de las mujeres incluidas en el programa de laUPAS13 acerca de su sexualidad y sus prácticas reproductivas, a través de sus historias de vida.Las mujeres se construyen en dos tiempos históricos simultáneos; modernamente, a través de una idealización del amor, la maternidad y la subordinación de género; y premodernamente, con la constitución de familias extensas y la maternidad aportadora de un status superior diferenciado.Sus representaciones acerca de la sexualidad están asociadas al ritual de inicio de las relaciones sexuales en su adolescencia, en constante contraposición con el afecto. Se registra un cambio histórico negativo en el “modo” de iniciarse en la sexualidad. La educación específica deviene desde las prácticas culturales del grupo social, mientras que la educación formal y la de los agentes de salud, aportan información relativamente ajena.La fragilidad social supuesta no se vive como una amenaza para la salud.
