Sumario:INTRODUCTION: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is the most common cancer in children and adolescents, has high mortality rates which have made it a public health problem in Mexico. Donabedian's quality model proposed three evaluation approaches: structure, process and result. Qualifiers of excellent, sufficient and insufficient allowed to obtain percentage values of quality behavior, favoring the easier identification of areas of opportunity. OBJECTIVE: We identify the quality of care offered to patients under the age of 18 with ALL at a cancer center in the state of Veracruz according to the Donabedian Model approaches. METHODS: observational, descriptive and transversal analytical study. The study population included children under the age of 18 with LLA, their companions, service providers in the area of Oncopediatría and related services. Five data collection instruments were used, which were validated prior to their application. RESULTS: Based on the Structure indicators, 67% of excellence, 20% sufficiency and 13% insufficiency were obtained. In relation to Process, 88% of excellence, 11% sufficiency and 1% inadequacy were obtained. In relation to the Result, 76% of excellence, 17% of sufficiency and 7 of inadequacy were obtained. The quality of global care presented 77% excellence, 16% sufficiency and 7% insufficiency. DISCUSSION: The quality of care was mostly excellent, but many areas of opportunity were demonstrated.
