Results: 15 items were designed for the “access” subscale, 3 items did not require modifications. Aiken's V and Content Validity Ratio show values ​​above 0.85 in all items and a content validity index of 0.84. Validated subscale allowed the generation of another 3 subscales, completing a total of 60 items. AFE identifies 4 factors equivalent to 4 designed subscales, with high reliability coefficients (over 0.93). Conclusions: There is a content validated scale, with a factorial structure consistent with the design of the 4 subscales.

Resumen Objetivo: Describir experiencia y resultados del diseño, validación de contenido y análisis exploratorio de estructura factorial, de escala para medir nivel de Alfabetización en Salud Sexual y Reproductiva (AS-SR) en estudiantes universitarios. Métodos: Estudio descriptivo y psicométrico, que mediante constructos teóricos modela diseño de ítems; mediante protocolo, entrenamiento de metodología Delphi y juicio de expertos, desarrolla validación de contenido; y Análisis Factorial Exploratorio (AFE). Resultados: Se diseñan 15 ítems para subescala “acceder”, 3 ítems no requirieron modificaciones. V de Aiken y Razón de Validez de Contenido presentan valores sobre 0,85 en todos los ítems e índice de validez de contenido de 0,84. Subescala validada permitió generar otras 3 subescalas, completando un total de 60 ítems. AFE identifica 4 factores equivalentes a 4 subescalas diseñadas, con altos coeficientes de fiabilidad (sobre 0,93).
