Sumario:Objective: Describe experience and results of the design, content validation and exploratory analysis of factorial structure, scale to measure level of Literacy in Sexual and Reproductive Health (AS-SR) in university students. Methods: Descriptive and psychometric study, which by means of theoretical constructs models item design; Through protocol, Delphi methodology training and expert judgment, it develops content validation; and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Results: 15 items were designed for the “access” subscale, 3 items did not require modifications. Aiken's V and Content Validity Ratio show values above 0.85 in all items and a content validity index of 0.84. Validated subscale allowed the generation of another 3 subscales, completing a total of 60 items. AFE identifies 4 factors equivalent to 4 designed subscales, with high reliability coefficients (over 0.93). Conclusions: There is a content validated scale, with a factorial structure consistent with the design of the 4 subscales.
