Sumario:Abstract: Turberculosis is a disease with worldwide impact and, mainly, in Brazil. It has a strong relationship with precarious socioeconomic conditions, as well as failures in public policies to combat the disease. Objective: To describe and analyze TB cases in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, from 2010 to 2018. Methodology: A retrospective investigation of TB cases was carried out through SINAN  . Results: Sex and age data were selected, with 7336 cases of males and about 1443 cases of females. Tuberculosis is a disease that affects mainly people with an economically active age, between 20 and 59 years old. Bacilliferous patients are more likely to have low education. The prison population that has TB is significant. Conclusion: TB numbers come exponentially. Brazil has been investing in technologies for diagnosing and preventing this cause. Therefore, it is important to discuss new and more effective strategies for disease control in urban areas and seclusion institutes. Keywords: Tuberculosis. Epidemiological profile.
