Sumario:The objectives were to describe incidence trends of oral cancer in Latin America according to sex between 2000-2017 and analyze its relationship with risk factors. Material and Method: Ecological study describing incidence trend of oral cancer in Latin America and correlation with smoking, drinking and urbanization. Results: Highest rates are seen in men (8.01) and women (3.64) from Cuba. There are general tendencies towards increase;only Guatemala shows stagnation for both sexes. There is a positive relationship between the incidence of oral cancer and smoking. (r:0.37) and alcohol consumption (r:0.60) in men; and negative with the urbanization in both sexes (r:-0.16) (p:<0,01). Conclusion: The incidence varies among countries and within the countries according to sexes, with atendency to increase. The greatest load is on men in relation to risk factors.
