Material and Methods: Descriptive, transversal and association study. The sample was for convenience, with a confidencelevel of 95% and a sampling error of 5%(n=315). Anadhoc questionnaire was used as an instrument. The content validity of the instrument was assessed through expert judgment. A descriptive and bivariate analysis was carried out, the SPSS software version 20 was used. Results: 96.8% of the respondents were women. 26% had secondary studies. 53% reported knowing the disease, of which only 13% really knew what it meant to have HPV. 73% of the girls had a full card. Significant relationships between educational level and knowledge about HPV were observed and between the knowledge of the risk of HPV and the vaccination coverage of girls. Conclusion: Knowledge about the risk of HPV influenced vaccination coverage. In turn, knowledge was higher as educational level increases. |

Objetivo: Analizar el nivel de conocimiento sobre VPH de madres, padres y o cuidadores de niñas que nacieron en el año 2000-2005, y su relación con la cobertura de vacunación por VPH, en el Barrio San Roque de la ciudad de Córdoba y aledaños, en el año 2017. Material y Métodos: Estudio descriptivo, transversal y de asociación. La muestra fue por conveniencia, con un nivel de confianza del 95% y un error muestral del 5%; siendo el total de 315 encuestas. Se utilizó como instrumento un cuestionario elaborado ad hoc. Se realizó análisis descriptivo y bivariado, se utilizó el software SPSS versión 20. Resultados: El 96,8% de los encuestados fueron mujeres. El 26% tenía secundario completo. Un 53% manifestó conocer la enfermedad, de los cuales solo un 13% realmente sabían que significaba tener VPH. El 73% de las niñas tenían carnet completo. Se observaron relaciones significativas entre el nivel educativo y el conocimiento sobre el VPH y se observó asociación entre el conocimiento del riesgo del VPH y la cobertura de vacunación de las niñas. Conclusión: El conocimiento sobre el riesgo del VPH influyó en la cobertura de vacunación. A su vez, el conocimiento fue mayor a medida que aumenta el nivel educativo. Objetivo: Descrever o nível de conhecimento sobre o HPV de mães, pais e / ou assistentes de meninas nascidas nos anos de 2000-2005 e analisar sua relação com a cobertura vacinal contra o HPV, no bairro San Roque, na cidade de Córdoba e arredores, no ano de 2017. Materiais e métodos: Estudo descritivo, ransversal e de associação. A amostra foi intencional, com nível de confiança de 95% e erro amostral de 5% (n = 315). Utilizou-se como instrumento um questionário ad hoc, cuja validade de conteúdo foi avaliada por meio dejulgamento de especialistas. Foi realizada uma análise descritiva e bivariada, utilizando-se o software SPSS versão 20. Resultados: 96,8% dos entrevistados eram mulheres. 26% tinham ensino médio completo. 53% relataram conhecer a doença, das quais apenas 13% realmente sabiam o que significava ter HPV. 73% das meninas tinham um cartão de vacinação completo. Observaramse relações significativas entre o grau de escolaridade e o conhecimento sobre o HPV e evidenciou-se uma associação entre o conhecimento sobre o risco de HPV e a cobertura vacinal das meninas. Conclusão: O conhecimento sobre o risco de HPV influenciou a cobertura vacinal. Por sua vez, o conhecimento foi maior à medida que o graul de escolaridade aumentava.
