| Sumario: | Abstract This work explores the association between stress facing strategies and socio-emotional adjustment in urban public transport bus drivers in the city of Sucre, during 2016. The sample was made up of 140 members of the two bus driver unions to whom Stress Facing Questionnaire (SFQ) and Weigner Adjustment Inventory (WAI) were applied. Results show that the variables: Focalization on problem solution, search of social support and avoidance correlated with consideration of others; open emotional expression of anger correlated positively with distress and defensiveness and negatively with self-control; positive re-evaluation showed statistically significant association with self-control and consideration of others; negative self-focalization has shown positive correlation with defensiveness. |
