Sumario:This article arises from the research project calledCare devices in mental health oriented to boys and girls. Descriptive study in Public Health Systems in Rio Negro and Neuquen, period 2014-2016, developed by an interdisciplinary team from the School of Education Studies, National University of Comahue, to characterize good practices in mental health oriented to girls. In this text we specifically show survey results carried out through the first stage of field work in which interviews to mental health/psychosocial health professional/ teams from both provinces were applied. These results account for the type of situations and problems related to the children›s mental health and their families received by the professionals/teams; how these situations and problems arrive, and the type of care and activities developed in order to address them. Additionally, we present the chosen devices for their categorization and systematization during the second stage of field work.
