Sumario:Based on empirical evidence of six selected countries in Latin America (Argentina, Plurinational State of Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, México y Uruguay), this article analyses household dedicated income transfer social policy provision scheme, both the contributory and non-contributory type. Emphasis is placed on conditional cash transfer programmes (CCTP) examination as the main poverty reduction policy, pointing out gender perspective and rights absence, implementation and intersectoral coordination deficits and state capability shortfalls, all this at the expense of boys, girls, and adolescents full exercise of rights.
