| Sumario: | This article explores modes of representation of female bodies in artistic works of Proyecto NUM: Recuperemos la imaginación para cambiar la historia [NUM Proyect: Recover imagination to change history], a product of “Ni una menos” first mobilization in 2015. We analize this mobilization as an affective event and we understand that these works are the result of an impulse that this historical event signified.We notice potencialities and limitations when gender violence is performed in artistic media. We focus on social meaning that reinforces or transforms it, and images related to femenine corporalities that normalize damage exposure or promote social transformation, by disputing this violence.In this sense, we make up two analysis sections. First, we focus on productions that present bodies devastated by violence. Then, we deal with works that propose innovative ways of representing the female body. |
