Sumario:This article summarizes the main lines of research from our Final Degree Project in History titled "'Against the System and Against the Left.' Anarchism and an Anarchist Identity in Córdoba (1970-1976)”. The objective is to study the process of identity construction of a collective of the New Libertarian Left, which was active in Córdoba and published Circular between 1970 and 1976. To accomplish this, we consulted editions of Circular, both commercial and progressive media outlets, our own interviews and those conducted by others, memoirs, and relevant literature. We assert that this group’s identity coalesced through a relational dynamic shaped by the interplay between two opposing entities: the dominant social system and the other organizations of the left. Opposed to them, the group conceived a political proposal based on discourses and practices such as the creative spontaneity of the masses, self-governance, and direct action. However, the collective also had links with other groups' members and state institutions.
