Sumario:This paper offers an insight based on linguistic prejudices as social prejudices, in a particular corpus: Visita a las Encomiendas de los Indios de Córdoba (1692-1693), by the Spanish judge and the commandery Inspector of Córdoba city, Tucumán government, at the end of XVII century. This paper was developed on the basis of two research lines: the declaratory one, which enables the observation and analysis of the different voices and hierarchies within a framework of conditions of discursive production of the end of XVII century in Córdoba of Tucumán; and the sociolinguistic one, especially the branch where prejudices are emphasized and in which it is possible to analyse the existing ever-changing relations between language and society. The analysis of the source makes us realise that this is about hierarchically related voices that makes it possible to identify the presence of linguistic prejudices that despite their apparent relation to language (or with certain level of the linguistic area), they end up being attached to the people that use it.
