Sumario:The problems presented are related the process of depopulation, decline and change in selected districts of the city of Córdoba since 1970. This deterioration and depopulation experienced by peri-central areas and the subsequent territorial expansion at the expense of the surrounding rural areas, is a recurring topic in current urban debate. It is intended to establish a possible classification of neighborhoods with higher growth and/or population loss, inquiring its causes as a hypothesis that induce these processes. The research field of study took the city of Córdoba (Capital of the province of Córdoba department). The sources used were comparisons between the 1991 and 2001 National Censuses and 2008 Provincial Census. Among the descriptors used data from the last four national censuses (1991, 2001, 2008 and 2010) were compared. These data contributed to quantitatively define migration flows produced in the study period.
