This requires preparation of teachers not only as researchers but as real teachers in order to achieve a higher quality of teaching according to the exigencies of the new times. La evolución del aprendizaje desde la secundaria hasta la universidad y, sobre todo, el tipo de Universidad que demandan los nuevos tiempos y las nuevas estructuras sociales y económicas, exige a los alumnos un aprendizaje independiente, activo, comprensivo y auto- regulado. Para ello es necesario formar a los profesores como docentes y no sólo como investigadores, para así conseguir una docencia de mayor calidad y adecuada a las exigencias de los nuevos tiempos.
