Sumario:It has been developed a macroclimatic model to estimate the soil temperature under more or less uniform conditions of vegetal cover. This model includes multiple regression ecuation for each month and for each soil depth (5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 cm). The used information has been obtenided from the publics register by the National Institute of Agropecuarian Technology. The climatics variables used are: air temperature, rainfall, number of days with year rainfall and climatic index: potential evapotranspiration. It was obtenided a final ecuation, allowing estimate the monthly average temperature of soil at 20 cm depth departing from the maximun monthly average temperature of air, resulting very acceptable for subhumid and humid climate, but not for semiar'd and and climate of Argentine.
