| Sumario: | This essay aims to take a conceptual look at Gayle Rubin's article Thinking Sex… (including authors such as Michel Foucault, val flores, Nestor Perlongher, Moira Pérez, Jorge Salessi, and others) to challenge the notion of "sex" as a biomedical assignment at birth and as a practice of sexual acts. This makes it possible to consider a travesti-trans-nb erotic justice beyond the hetero-homosexual binary and its theoretical legacies. Methodologically, it encourages a hermeneutic-critical analysis of the proposed bibliography, as well as of recent political events, which provide an opportunity to update and expand the ways in which we think about sex. |
