Sumario:This article analyses how women academics from the seven state universities of the Brazilian state of Paraná represent and narrate interdictions that transit in the discursive field and interfere in their research careers. To discuss these interdictions, we worked with oral life histories of ten female researchers from these universities. We identified that practices such as mansplaining and manterrupting occur in the relational dynamics of women and men and, apparently, are very common in these spaces. These interdictions are part of the discursive field, often naturalised, even by the women themselves, and create invisible obstacles to their permanence and professional development in academic spaces.
