Sumario:In the last decades, the digitalization has advanced in both the economy and society. Different waves of technological advances (computers, the Internet, the development of ICT) have expanded to what is currently called “4.0 technologies” into firms, their production and organizational processes. However, the literature that has studied the extent to which these “4.0 technologies” are present in manufacturing in Argentina is scattered. This is a review paper that aims to review recent empirical advances that seek, in an academic and systematic manner, to account for the importance of the digitalization of production in the Argentine industry in recent years.
