Sumario:The goal of this study is to characterize, understand and describe the role of incubation processes in the existing networks of the ecosystem of the entrepreneurial world. For this, we will analyze the case of the “IncuBAte” programme, which is developed by the Government of the city of Buenos Aires. The methodology used in this investigation is a qualitative one of the descriptive type based on systemic network analysis organized around the GCBA IncuBAte program. The sources used were the official documents of the General Directorate of Entrepreneurs of the GCBA, reports and indicators of management provided by the actors that take part in the incubation network. With this reflective analysis, it is expected to present -focusing on the characterization and descriptive detail- the incubation experience of emerging companies. Lessons learned from the program to date are also collected; both the possible successes and the elements to improve for the future.
