| Sumario: | The objective was to identify the existing gaps in the management of Technology Transfer Office (TTOs) regarding the transfer of technology and innovation in Scientific, Technology and Innovation Institutions in the Southeast region of Brazil. The research was characterized as applied and exploratory, based on a bibliographic review in national and international sources, a structured questionnaire was chosen and applied based on the Technology Transfer Radar (RTT) tool adapted from Silva (2016). The results show that the state of São Paulo is at the most advanced stage in the region, followed immediately by Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, with the highest averages per state in terms of RTT: “People” (3.60) in Minas Gerais; “People” (3.75) in Rio de Janeiro; and “Integrated Management” (4.33) in São Paulo. The lowest averages of the dimensions were: “Commercialization” (1.67) Minas Gerais; “Processes”, “Valuation” and Commercialization” with (2.42) in Rio de Janeiro; “Relationship” (2.67) in São Paulo. With the study it was possible to verify the relationship between the evolution of national and institutional regulations and the performance of the TTOs. The study points out that the dimensions of People, R&D in Technologies and Intellectual Property, respectively, boast the best indexes of ICTs in the Southeast. The dimensions Valuation, Commercialization and Society, in that order, present the worst performances, thus giving rise to a greater number of actions and projects that recognize these areas and strengthen the other dimensions. |
