We seek to contribute to the study of the workforce configuration based on a case study. From a qualitative methodological approach, we use a series of interviews with workers from different sectors, seniority and with different trajectories that manifest a sense of belonging that we call the aeronautical family. The central objective of this work is to be able to account the tensions within the labor force, starting from local categories that serves to understand how this collective has configured. We intend to show how these internal tensions developed by analyzing the expressions we found on the origin of the workers: “of family” and “from the street”. Este artículo se propone contribuir a comprender los procesos de configuración del colectivo laboral de Aerolíneas Argentinas, que ha logrado acumular una importante fuerza sindical que se expresa en su capacidad de movilización, en la presencia en los lugares de trabajo y en la capacidad de incidir en la política aerocomercial. Buscamos aportar al estudio del colectivo de trabajadores y trabajadoras a partir de un estudio de caso. Desde un enfoque metodológico cualitativo, recuperamos una serie de entrevistas a trabajadoras y trabajadores de diferentes sectores, antigüedad y con trayectorias disímiles que manifiestan un sentido de pertenencia que denominamos familia aeronáutica. El objetivo central del trabajo es poder dar cuenta de las tensiones al interior del colectivo laboral a partir de categorías nativas, que ayudan a comprender cómo se configuró históricamente dicho colectivo.
