Sumario:In this paper, we will analyze the different requirements required for videofilmations to be admitted as evidence at trial. Without prejudice to cases where the probative value of the audiovisual document is established by law, we will try to deepen those other cases that lack a specific regulatory framework, such as hidden cameras or “private” audiovisual documents provided by the parties to the process judicial, determining the characters that the doctrine and jurisprudence have established to grant them validity as evidence in trial. Finally, we will examine some recent decisions of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Province of Buenos Aires to observe the application that, in specific cases, the magistrates make of the principles of the matter presented in this article.   Keywords: Video recording - Security cameras - Hidden cameras - Judicial evidence
