description The social function of Archives as a place of memories and the functional actions of information professionals in dealing with Archival documentation and the relations between institutions and the surrounding society are the objectives to be investigated. The importance of the interviews was emphasized as archival oral memorial documents, their evolution, tasks, models and governmental functions in the preservation of oral memories of professionals. It is clarified, in a case study, the importance that the institution should give to the “place of memories” in the professional archival context and the importance of oral interviews as an enabler of the integration policies of the Brazilian State for the country's History. As a complement, it contributed to the research of the master's degree in sciences, in which in the preparation of this article, a bibliography written by Brazilian military was used, composed of speeches, documents, magazines, memoirs, interviews and monographs. To support the theoretical foundation, authors were used who analyzed several Archival aspects. It is justified by defending the importance of oral archival preservation of interviews of professionals who worked on Brazilian territorial social integration in aviation. It is concluded that due to the extension of the original research, there would be a need for further study and continuity. Se enfatizó la importancia de las entrevistas como documentos conmemorativos orales de archivo, su evolución, tareas, modelos y funciones gubernamentales en la preservación de los recuerdos orales de los profesionales. Se aclara, en un estudio de caso, la importancia que la institución debe dar al "lugar de los recuerdos" en el contexto de archivo profesional y la importancia de las entrevistas orales como un facilitador de las políticas de integración del Estado brasileño para la historia del país. Como complemento, contribuyó a la investigación de la maestría en ciencias, en la cual, en la preparación de este artículo, se utilizó una bibliografía escrita por militares brasileños, compuesta de discursos, documentos, revistas, memorias, entrevistas y monografías. Para apoyar la base teórica, se utilizaron autores que analizaron varios aspectos de archivo. Se justifica defendiendo la importancia de la preservación del archivo oral de las entrevistas de los profesionales que trabajaron en la integración social territorial brasileña en la aviación. Se concluye que debido a la extensión de la investigación original, habría una necesidad de más estudios y continuidad. Esto solo sucedió más tarde, en la publicación de una nueva investigación como ésta.   Palabras clave: Archivo 2.0, Memoria oral, Preservación de archivos A função social dos Arquivos como lugar de memórias e as ações funcionais dos profissionais da informação no trato da documentação Arquivística e as relações entre as instituições e a sociedade do entorno são os objetivos a se investigar. Enfatizaram-se a importância das entrevistas como documentos memoriais orais arquivísticos, sua evolução, incumbências, modelos e as funções governamentais na preservação de memórias orais de profissionais. Clarifica-se, num estudo de caso, a importância que a instituição deveria dar ao “lugar de memórias” no contexto profissional arquivístico e a importância das entrevistas orais como viabilizadora das políticas de integração do Estado brasileiro para a História do país. Contribuiu-se, como complemento, para a pesquisa do mestrado em ciências em que na para a elaboração deste artigo, recorreu-se a bibliografia escrita por militares brasileiros, composta por discursos, documentos, revistas, livros de memórias, entrevistas e monografias. Para suporte da fundamentação teórica, recorreu-se a autores que analisaram diversos aspectos Arquivísticos. Justifica-se por defender a importância da preservação oral arquivística de entrevistas dos profissionais que trabalharam na integração social territorial brasileira na aviação. Conclui-se que pela extensão da pesquisa original haveria necessidade de aprofundamento e continuidade.
