| Sumario: | A great number of companies offer file services to many entities in our country. This investigation tries to know and analyze why organizations of Cordoba Province contract through a third party, studying Interfile Company, settled in Rio Cuarto city. There are few studies about this subject in the scientific production of archivology in our country; that is why we consider that is necessary to improve and know the development of this kind of companies for our profession.
As a general hypothesis we consider that entities do not have enough archival culture, specially the ignorance of the value of documents that they produce, make that they contract companies that outsource file services, without thinking about the possibility of doing it themselves.
An interview to the person who is responsable at Interfile and a questionnaire to thirty clients of the company, help to achieve the objectives set and demonstrate the hypothesis.
