For the race: Paper presented at the First American Child Congress held in Buenos Aires on July 6, 1916.

The first American Congress of the Child warmly urges the public authorities, in the interest of the destiny of the race, to establish progressively in all cities public and official gymnasiums and open-air schools for weak children.
