| Sumario: | Aluminum is a product of today's age. Its lightness, corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity have made it widely used in the chemical, electrical and mechanical industries. Allied with other elements, which improve its mechanical characteristics, it has entered the aeronautical industry. Since Wilm established in 1911 the '' duraluminium '' and its thermal treatments, combining lightness and high resistance, aluminum became the most important raw material for aeronautical constructions. |
