Sumario:Fifty years after the publication of the founding texts of the Marxist Theory of Dependency (MTD) and in tribute to Vânia Bambirra, one of its main references, so often silenced because she was a woman, solidly left-wing and radical, we share the voices of two other women of relevance to this story. On the one hand, we present the testimony of Nadia Bambirra dos Santos, daughter of Vânia and Theotônio dos Santos. On the other hand, an interview with Carla Ferreira Campos, historian, lecturer at the Escola de Serviço Social, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and coordinator of the Vânia Bambirra Memorial-Archive. With active participation in the development of current studies on and from on and from the MTD, she is a faithful custodian of Vânia's personal archive and Director, together with Mathias Seibel Luce, of the documentary mini-series in 15 episodes, "Vânia: a história de uma revolucionária".
