Sumario:The economic history of the period of Raúl Alfonsín (1983-1989) still constitutes a relevant field to contribute to the debates, tensions and contradictions that crossed the economy. The work seeks to contribute to the knowledge of economic policy in the management of Bernardo Grinspun (1983-1985) by monitoring the periodical press and other primary and secondary sources. We maintain that to explain the disarticulation of the first economic program of the democratic government, it is necessary to refer to the discussions led by Grinspun, Raúl Prebisch and García Vázquez. From these, the progressive erosion of Grinspun's economic bets is evident: financial reform, external debt and reactivation of the economy.
