We will seek to understand, from oral narratives, how they remember the period: from the strategies for leaving Brazil, living in a different country, as well as the forms of resistance developed and the return process to the birthplace. We will pay attention, above all, to the way in which the gender is articulated in its memories. Thus, it is expected to contribute to the debate on exile and its multiple possibilities of analysis, considering that, only recently, it has won space in Brazilian historiography. Este artículo pretende analizar la trayectoria en el exilio de tres mujeres brasileñas que pasaron por Argelia entre 1969 y 1979: Ana Angélica Lins de Albuquerque Melo, Carmen Helena Barbosa do Vale y Yara Regina Gouvêa. Vamos a tratar de entender, a través de las narraciones orales, cómo recuerdan el período: desde las estrategias para salir de Brasil, para vivir en un país muy diferente, así como las formas de resistencia elaboradas a partir de entonces y el proceso de retorno. Prestaremos atención, sobre todo, a la forma en que se articula el género en su proceso de rememoración. Así, esperamos contribuir al debate sobre el exilio y sus múltiples posibilidades de análisis, considerando que sólo recientemente ha ganado espacio en la historiografía brasileña. O artigo buscará analisar a trajetória no exílio de três mulheres brasileiras que passaram pela Argélia entre os anos de 1969 e 1979: Ana Angélica Lins de Albuquerque Melo, Carmen Helena Barbosa do Vale e Yara Regina Gouvêa. Buscaremos compreender, a partir de narrativas orais, como as mesmas rememoram o período: desde as estratégias para a saída do Brasil, viver em um país sobremaneira diferente, bem como as formas de resistência elaboradas a partir de então e o processo de retorno. Atentaremos, sobretudo, para a forma com que o gênero é articulado no seu processo de rememoração. Assim, espera-se contribuir para o debate sobre o exílio e suas múltiplas possibilidades de análise, tendo em vista que, só recentemente, o mesmo tem ganhado espaço na historiografia brasileira.
