| Sumario: | The present work aims to analyze the trajectory in exile of three Brazilian women who passed through Algeria between 1969 and 1979: Ana Angélica Lins de Albuquerque Melo, Carmen Helena Barbosa do Vale and Yara Regina Gouvêa. We will seek to understand, from oral narratives, how they remember the period: from the strategies for leaving Brazil, living in a different country, as well as the forms of resistance developed and the return process to the birthplace. We will pay attention, above all, to the way in which the gender is articulated in its memories. Thus, it is expected to contribute to the debate on exile and its multiple possibilities of analysis, considering that, only recently, it has won space in Brazilian historiography. |
