Descripción
Sumario:Marta Bonaudo's thesis, written and defended in 1972, directed by Dr. Reyna Pastor de Togneri, whose paper version can be found in the Central Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of the UNR, 333:R30514:F24-08-73, deals with the analysis of the 14th century crisis in Castile, based on the private, royal and ecclesiastical documentation of the monastery of San Salvador de Oña. The information from the sources is presented through tables that show a quantitative approach: the extension of the territory controlled by the monastery and its temporal variations, the type of crops grown and the demographic changes, as well as the forms of land cession. She also describes the agrarian landscape and the links between its inhabitants. The author shows the persistence of the feudal mode of production - even when small-scale production under the sharecropping or leasing system disappears - in the form of the subjection of producers to individual or collective charters.
