The period of analysis begins with the moments of reactivation and social mobilization at the end of the dictatorship, until the decisive juncture for the human rights policy that the year 1987 represented, after the carapintada uprising and the sanction of the Law of Due Obedience. In methodological terms, we appeal to a set of documentary sources that include analysis of the press, testimonies and materials typical of student activism and the human rights movement. El artículo propone una aproximación a los modos en que la militancia estudiantil de la UNLPam se involucró y constituyó en un actor relevante dentro de la dinámica del naciente movimiento de derechos humanos en La Pampa. El período de análisis se inicia con los momentos de reactivación y movilización social a fines de la dictadura, hasta la coyuntura determinante para la política de derechos humanos que representó el año 1987, luego del levantamiento carapintada y la sanción de la ley de Obediencia Debida.
