| Sumario: | This article reconstructs the trajectory of a student group of the National University of the Littoral that for almost 25 years had a great visibility and incidence in the public space of Santa Fe: the University Athenaeum of Santa Fe. During its existence, between 1948 and 1973, this group went from initially conservative positions, strongly linked to those of the curia, to others more autonomous and questioning the established order, until assuming an openly revolutionary direction, at which time much of its leadership made the passage to the armed struggle, thus becoming a member of one of the founding groups of Montoneros.
Reconstructing his particular trajectory is of special interest, as it sheds light on important aspects of the process of student radicalization that took place in the mid-twentieth century in the universities of our country; at the same time it allows to reconsider and /or qualify a series of generalizations that circulate around the broader processes of political radicalization and the revolutionary organizations themselves, and invites to review the periodizations of those same processes that have been built and disseminated. |
