Unlike other writings on the period and the university, here we emphasize the action of the student collectives. Thanks to this, we contribute with an element that has not been mentioned much to explain the defeat of the Peronist, Marxist and reformist leftist groups: the internal crisis of the Buenos Aires student movement since before the beginning of the Mission, a factor that intervenes to understand the impact of the actions of the government and the rectorship against the student movement.
