The objective is to reflect on the conjunction between beauty, youth, and women in traditionally rooted arguments which ordered the aforementioned author´s common sense, and are transmittedin the long term regarding the expressions of gender violence against women. The ordering hypothesis states that Barón Biza inserted in his stories and novels numerous autobiographical moments which allow to understand his appraisals about women, both in fiction and in his personal life. His sayings do nothing more than confirming the patriarchal order and the domination by men towards women. El presente artículo centra su eje de interés en la literatura de Raúl Barón Biza (1899-1964). El objetivo es reflexionar sobre la conjunción entre belleza, juventud y mujeres en argumentos tradicionalmente arraigados que ordenaron el sentido común del citado autor y que se transmiten en la larga duración con respecto a las expresiones de la violencia de género contra las mujeres. Se parte de la hipótesis que afirma que Barón Biza intercaló en sus cuentos y novelas numerosos momentos autobiográficos que permiten aproximarnos a sus apreciaciones sobre las mujeres tanto en la ficción como en su vida personal. Sus expresiones no hacen más que confirmar el orden patriarcal y la dominación de los varones para con las mujeres. Este artigo centra-se na literatura de Raúl Barón Biza (1899-1964). O objetivo é refletir sobre a conjunção entre beleza, juventude e mulher em argumentos tradicionalmente enraizados que ordenaram o senso comum do referido autor e que se transmitem a longo prazo no que diz respeito às expressões de violência de género contra as mulheres. A hipótese parte do pressuposto de que o Barão de Biza intercalou nos seus contos e romances numerosos momentos autobiográficos que nos permitem abordar as suas apreciações sobre as mulheres, tanto na ficção como na sua vida pessoal. As suas expressões apenas confirmam a ordem patriarcal e o domínio do homem sobre a mulher.
