Sumario:The work presents alternative ways of doing science from a dialogical, collaborative, and situated perspective. The article shares experiences, personal stories, and reflections based on the research journey undertaken with two communities in the hills of Salta: Potrero de Castilla (La Caldera) and Cerro Negro del Tirao (Rosario de Lerma). Starting from an ideological standpoint, a spiral process of participatory action research is proposed, aiming to respond to felt and prioritized needs. Actions and outcomes are materialized through the dialogue of knowledge and networks of articulation that enable real transformations in the territory. The difficulties and challenges that characterize this methodological decision are also discussed, along with some strategies and proposals to overcome them.
