| Sumario: | Models and Theories (2022) represents the synthesis of two decades of research dedicated to the reflection on scientific representation and the role of models in science by Roman Frigg. The Swiss philosopher of science has played a fundamental role in the dissemination of this research program from the London School of Economics, carrying out a series of collaborations that allow us to delve into the main topics of this discipline. Preceded by a remarkable article published in The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (Frigg & Nguyen, 2020b) and two introductory works on the subject, both recently published (Frigg & Nguyen, 2020a, 2022), this new book is the most systematic and ambitious project to reconstruct this debate. |
