We will follow their footsteps in their prolonged exile, where almost all of them died Bosquejaremos los retratos de ocho misioneros jesuitas de la Antigua Compañía de Jesús en Hispanoamérica, nacidos en Villafranca del Bierzo (España), y los diecisiete ignacianos que, oriundos de distintas regiones de España, ingresados en la Provincia de Castilla, trabajaban en el Colegio de San Ignacio de Villafranca, el único implantado en la diócesis de Astorga, cuando, en abril de 1767, fueron desterrados a Italia.
