One of them, located in Alcalá de Henares, was published in 2016, while the other, belonging to the Historical Archive of the Sanctuary of Loyola, remained unpublished until this opportunity. Given the particularity of having two similar, but not identical, reports by the same author, we decided, in addition to their complete transcription, to put in dialogue both writings by means of a comparative work. In broad terms, the relation that we present offers, on the one hand, some sections of ethnographic information that the other one lacks and, on the other hand, a marked apologetic intention of the Jesuit action not so explicit in the already published relation. El jesuita expulso Francisco Burgés fue autor de dos relaciones en las cuales dio testimonio de su experiencia en la reducción de San Javier de mocovíes. Una de ellas, localizada en Alcalá de Henares, fue publicada en el año 2016, mientras que la otra, perteneciente al Archivo Histórico del Santuario de Loyola, permaneció inédita hasta esta oportunidad. Dada la particularidad de contar con dos relaciones similares del mismo autor, mas no idénticas, decidimos, además de su transcripción completa, poner en diálogo ambos escritos por medio un trabajo comparativo. Grosso modo, la relación que presentamos ofrece, por un lado, algunas secciones de información etnográfica de las cuales la otra carece y, por otro lado, una marcada intención apologética del accionar jesuítico no tan explícita en la relación ya publicada.
