Sumario:This work proposal aims to approach -from a comparative perspective- the representation of the murderous woman from the analysis of the novel El desorden de tu nombre (Spain, 1988) by Juan José Millás and a corpus bounded by journalistic texts which exposes murders committed by women. In both the literary and journalistic texts, murder operates as an instrument that denaturalizes women from the conditions symbolically imposed by “habitus” and leads them to deconstruct the social figure that tradition has induced them to assume. The theoretical guidelines that guide this study are, basically, the concept of “habitus” defined by the French theorist Pierre Bourdieu, the notion of body as situation or locus, proposed by Judith Butler, and the text/discourse/context relationship analyzed from Teun van Dijk´s theoretical position.
