Influence of diabetes on the mast-cells of the salivari glands of the rat
Streptozotocin diabetes increases in a significant \vay the number of mastcells in the submax:ilary and sublingual glands as compared with glands of normal rats. Insulin and estrogens seem to reverse this trend.
